The lion behind your back is a great metaphor for how it feels to have OCD. Perhaps nobody else can see it, but for the person with OCD, the lion isn´t just behind your back, it's jumping up and down in front of your face. The metaphor can help us though to be more accepting of why other people find it so hard to understand OCD and also to view ourselves from a slightly different perspective.

In today's episode we take a look at some of things that can help us to let go of emotional baggage and boost our healing process.
If you have experienced severe trauma in your life in one form or another, then it’s important for you to work with a qualified counsellor or therapist in order to process it. The inner healing that I am talking about today, is more about the everyday stuff, the emotional baggage that we all carry around with us from an early age which we need to learn to let go of.
